PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota State Cross Country Meet is set for Saturday afternoon at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron.
     
The meet involves boys' and girls' teams representing Class AA, Class A and Class B schools.
     
The South Dakota High School Activities Association says 367 girls and 363 boys have qualified to run in the meet. The boys run 5,000 meters and the girls run 4,000 meters.
     
Yankton is the defending Class AA team champion for both boys and girls. Hill City and Wessington Springs won the Class A and Class B boys titles last year, respectively.
     
Custer is the defending Class A girls' champ, and Kadoka won the girls' Class B team crown in 2007.
